• Russia intercepts Ukrainian aerial bombs, while Ukraine attacks Russian air defense system

MOSCOW: Russia’s Defense Ministry reported on Saturday that the Russian troops had intercepted Ukrainian aerial bombs while the Ukrainian armed forces claimed to have launched attacks on Russian air defense system.

The Russian military forces have repelled multiple Ukrainian attacks in directions including Kupyansk, Avdeyevka and Donetsk, and struck Ukrainian anti-artillery radars, ammunition depots and other targets.

The Russian air defense forces shot down a Ukrainian MiG-29 fighter jet, and intercepted Ukrainian guided aerial bombs, multiple rockets and drones, said the report.

On the same day, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said that the Ukrainian army fought dozens of battles with the Russian military forces on the front line that day.
