Asad Umar discharged from hospital

LAHORE: Former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Asad Umar has been discharged from the hospital after getting a clean bill of health on Tuesday.

Earlier today Asad Umar was shifted to a hospital after his health condition deteriorated at an anti terrorism court (ATC) in Lahore.

Umar’s lawyer said his client felt chest pain in the courtroom, therefore, he was taken to Punjab Institute of Cardiology immediately.

A video of the former federal minister has surfaced, wherein people have lifted him on hands to transfer into a vehicle.

Doctors immediately took his blood samples and conducted ECG. His initial ECG report came out normal, while doctors said his blood pressure had dropped.

Doctors took further blood samples to rule out a heart attack and kept him under observation for a while.

The hospital administration informed that his health condition was out of danger after he was given medicine. It said his condition deteriorated as he took blood pressure medicine on an empty stomach.

After getting a clean chit from the hospital the Asad Umar has been discharged.
