Aerial firing near motorway Kalkarhar service area; three suspects apprehended

ISLAMABAD: An incident of aerial firing disrupted the tranquility near the Motorway Kalkarhar service area in the early hours of Saturday, prompting swift police action.

According to official police statements, three individuals have been arrested in connection with the incident, and a cache of weaponry has been seized from their possession.

The suspects were apprehended with a pistol, along with seven bullets and two magazines. The Motorway Police Spokesman, in his communication with the media, claimed that the aerial firing was orchestrated to intimidate a family present at the scene.

Law enforcement authorities promptly detained the individuals involved. The arrested suspects have been transferred into the custody of the Col. Kahar police station, where they will face due legal procedures.
