Bangladesh’s Mushfiqur Rahim retires from ODI cricket

The Bangladesh wicket-keeper batter has scored nearly 7800 runs in his storied career. He has an average of 36.42, and made his high score of 144 in the 50 over format against Sri Lanka in September 2018. Rahim has scored 49 half centuries and nine tons across the 256 innings he’s played.

Steven Smith retires from ODI format effective immediately

After suffering a loss to India in the semi-finals of the Champions Trophy, Smith announced that he would no longer be competing in the format. However, he will still be available for T20Is as well as for the red ball format.
