World Cup 2023: Pakistani Cricketers honoured in intimate ceremony post-Netherlands victory

WEB DESK: In the wake of a triumphant match against the Netherlands, players from the Pakistani national cricket team were awarded in a private ceremony held in the dressing room.
Following their successful debut in the World Cup 2023, the team director, Mickey Arthur, orchestrated an awards presentation to commend outstanding performances by the players.
During the occasion, Arthur lauded the players for their exceptional display on the field.

In recognition of their contributions, Arthur bestowed the Player of the Match accolade upon national team captain Babar Azam, while Saud Shakeel received the prestigious Impact Player award.
Meanwhile, the team director specifically highlighted the commendable bowling by Haris Rauf, Rizwan’s batting prowess, and the valuable contributions of Shadab Khan and Nawaz.
Expressing admiration for Saud Shakeel’s ability to perform under pressure and deliver impactful shots, Arthur lauded the positive intentions displayed by the players during the World Cup 2023 match.
Furthermore, he underlined the significance of the players’ partnership under pressure, stating, “We need to play cricket like this; this is our ‘The Pakistan Way.'”
