My husband could be poisoned, pleas Bushra Bibi

ISLAMABAD: Bushra Bibi, the wife of Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf Chairman, has filed a court petition seeking security and protection for her husband while he is in jail.

On Monday, she submitted a petition to the Islamabad High Court, expressing concerns that her husband could be exposed to the risk of poisoning during his confinement at Adiala Jail.

In her plea, Bushra Bibi emphasized that her husband has not been permitted to receive homemade food. She called for the responsible medical officer to ensure the supply of uncontaminated food, citing the potential dangers of consuming adulterated meals.

She further pleaded, “My husband is being denied the entitlements and facilities he is legally entitled to.”
