BAP leaders likely to join PML-N

ISLAMABAD: Numerous Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) and prominent Baloch leaders are reportedly considering a switch to the PML-N, as per sources.

According to reports, some BAP leaders held a meeting with former speaker and PML-N leader Ayaz Sadiq in Quetta.

The Balochistan leaders have set a condition for their potential party switch, requesting the presence of top PML-N figures such as Nawaz Sharif, Shehbaz Sharif, or Maryam Nawaz in Quetta.

In preparation for this transition, the President of PML-N Balochistan is hosting a dinner for the leaders interested in joining the PML-N.

Sources also indicate that Ayaz Sadiq is working to facilitate a telephonic conversation between Baloch leaders and PML-N’s supreme leader, Nawaz Sharif.

Earlier reports suggested that several BAP leaders, including provincial ministers, senators, and MPAs, were considering joining the PML-N.
