Weather update: dry, cold weather predicted across Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Dry and cold weather will prevail in most parts of the country, while there is a chance of isolated rainfall in Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department.
After a day of rainfall, the skies in Islamabad have cleared with a little chill in the air and cold and dry weather is expected to prevail.
According to the met office, there is no chance of rain this week, and hill stations of Murree and Galiyat, along with coastal Gwadar, are expected to maintain their dry and cold climate.
Heavy snow traps tourists’ vehicles in Galiyat
However, Kohistan and Mansehra may experience thunderstorms with brisk winds.
Additionally, intense winds and thunderstorms are predicted in Azad Kashmir, particularly in mountainous terrains, where heavy snowfall may occur.
The weather department has advised tourists to take necessary precautions in the affected areas to avoid any untoward incidents.
