Traffic plan issued for Islamabad today

ISLAMABAD: Due to the movement of a foreign dignitary today, the traffic will remain disrupted in several routes. Islamabad Traffic Police has devised a traffic plan for the convenience of the citizens.

As per the plans, extraordinary traffic arrangements have been made at different times on Koral, Faizabad, Express Highway, Murree Road, Club Road, Serena Chowk, Radio Pakistan, Zero Point, and Srinagar Highway.

According to Islamabad Traffic Police, traffic flow will remain disrupted between 8:30 am and 11:30 am on the Express Highway and Srinagar Highway due to route security.

Traffic will slow down, the police warned, advising commuters to use the service roads linked to the Express Highway and Srinagar Highway.

For travel toward Blue Area, Sector F-6, and F-7, motorists have been advised to use the H-8 underpass.

Those heading toward the Red Zone and Serena Hotel should use Margalla Road, Jinnah Avenue, Ayub Chowk, and Nadra Chowk, the traffic police said.
