University girl gang-raped in Islamabad, blackmailed for six months

ISLAMABAD: A female university student in Islamabad was subjected to rape, followed by a distressing period of six months during which she was blackmailed using explicit videos of the assault.

According to the First Information Report (FIR) lodged at the Shahzad Town police station, the victim bravely shared that she had endured harrowing gang rape, after which she was subjected to a prolonged ordeal of blackmail using the recorded videos.

As reported by Geo News, the FIR identifies four individuals as being involved in the incident.

Police have launched an investigation into the matter.

Khushab: Four men allegedly gang-rape girl, release video online

In a separate incident, an FIR was lodged against four individuals, with one arrested, for allegedly gang-raping a girl and releasing the video on social media platforms in the neighbouring village of Khushab.

As reported by the police, the incident occurred in the vicinity of Tehsil Jauharabad on July 26 and the FIR was registered based on the victim’s statement.
