ISLAMABAD: A gruesome triple murder case in Islamabad has sent shock waves and fear through the residents of the federal capital raising serious concerns about security.
The incident took place in Ramsha Colony, falling under the jurisdiction of I-9 police station. Police confirmed that three bodies, including that of a woman, were recovered from a house early Wednesday morning.
According to investigators, the victims, a father, son, and daughter, belonged to the Christian community. The victims have been identified as Akram Paul, Shabbir and Neha.
Neighbours told reporters that the family had been living in the area for several years and were known to keep to themselves.
The bodies, found in a single locked room, were in a decomposed state, suggesting the deaths occurred nearly two weeks ago.

Police shifted the remains to a local hospital for postmortem to determine the exact cause of death.
Police teams, including the station house officer (SHO), reached the scene soon after receiving information. Forensic experts were also called in to collect evidence. The house has been sealed as a crime scene.
Authorities said it was too early to confirm whether the case was a result of targeted killing, family dispute, or accident.
“All possibilities are being examined,” a senior police officer said, adding that investigators are recording statements from neighbors and relatives to piece together the family’s last days.
The triple murder has sparked fear among residents of the area. Locals demanded enhanced patrolling and swift justice.
“We are terrified after this incident. Such things never happened here before,” a neighbour told the media.
Police officials assured that the case will be investigated from all angles and culprits, if any, will be brought to justice.
