Six drown in Karachi while swimming

KARACHI: Six people drowned in Karachi’s Hawk’s Bay while swimming. Out of which four have been rescued.

According to rescue sources, six people of the same family went for swimming at Hawks Bay and due to strong current could not maintain their balance and drowned.

Heavy rainfall brings respite from hot, humid weather

Rescue officials were called immediately, who managed to rescue four people alive and also recovered the dead bodies of the other two. Those who drowned include four women and two males.

The rescued have been shifted to the hospital, out of which two are said to be in serious condition.
