ISLAMABAD: The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) announced on Friday the issuance of Rs75 commemorative coins to mark the nation’s victory in Marka-e-Haq, the India-Pakistan clashes of May.
Marka-e-Huq is the official name given to the broader conflict between India and Pakistan from April 22 to May 10. It also includes Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos, launched after India attacked Pakistan following baseless allegations that Islamabad had supported a terrorist attack in the Pahalgam area of Kashmir, which claimed 26 lives.
India suffered huge losses during the military standoff, including losing six military aircrafts.
The central bank said it issued the Rs75 denomination coin to honour the valour of Pakistan’s armed forces during Marka-e-Haq and to celebrate Independence Day with due dignity.
The coin will be available through the exchange counters of all field offices of the SBP Banking Services Corporation from August 15, 2025, the central bank said in a statement.

The 30-millimeter nickel-brass coin weighs 13.5 grams. The words “MARKA-E-HAQ” in Urdu script and “2025” in numerals are inscribed in the center,” the statement said.
Words “PAKISTAN HAMESHA ZINDABAD” in Urdu script are also engraved along the upper periphery on the reverse side.
Moreover, two fighter aircraft, one naval ship, and one multiple rocket launcher system (MRLS) are also depicted on the reverse.
The obverse side features the traditional crescent-and-star design, with the waxing crescent moon and five-pointed star facing northwest in a rising position at the center. The words “ISLAMI JAMHURIA PAKISTAN” in Urdu script are inscribed along the upper periphery.
Below the crescent, above two upward-curving wheat sprigs, is the year of issuance “2025.”
The coin’s face value, “75” in bold numerals, is placed to the right of the crescent star, while the word “RUPIA” in Urdu script appears to the left.
