Ramzan in March, Eid-ul-Fitr on April 10: UAE

Board of Directors of the Emirates Astronomy Society Chairman Ibrahim Al Jarwan announced that Rabi Al Awwal is likely to begin on September 16 based on astronomical calculations.

As per the astronomical calculations released, the Holy Month of Ramzan is expected to begin in the second week of March 2024 in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Subsequently, Eid-ul-Fitr is likely to fall on April 10.

In Pakistan, the projection places Eid on April 11. However, the actual dates will be determined based on the sighting of the crescent Moon. Islamic Hijri calendar in Pakistan usually falls one day behind the UAE’s calendar.
