PTI’s Peshawar convoy fails to reach motorway; CM’s motorcade also absent
PESHAWAR: The convoy of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in Peshawar could not reach the motorway interchange in Peshawar today.
Party workers have been reported to leave for Islamabad in small groups rather than a coordinated convoy. Notably, the convoy of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur – who was reportedly leading the rally from Peshawar – is also nowhere in sight.
Metro bus service halted; restaurants, guesthouses ordered shut for PTI rally
Despite the anticipation of a large-scale movement towards the rally scheduled at Sangjani in Islamabad, no official convoy from Peshawar has been seen departing for the event so far.
PTI officials have stated they are unaware of the timing for the CM’s convoy departure, adding to the uncertainty surrounding the movement of party members towards the rally site.
