BAJAUR: Anwar Zeb Khan, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (PTI) Vice-President and a former member of the provincial assembly (MPA) from Bajaur, was arrested by police from outside the Bajaur deputy commissioner’s office.
In a video message released prior to his arrest, Anwar Zeb said that he had initially visited a mosque to pray and, while there, he met with the deputy commissioner of Bajaur, who invited him to his office for tea.
However, Khan said, he was still inside the office as individuals in plain clothes had gathered outside for his arrest.
He maintained that no charges had been filed against him, and he had been granted pre-arrest bail by the court.
