PTI postpones today’s sit-in in Islamabad, IHC’s verdict still awaited

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) Islamabad President Amir Mughal has said that the party has postponed today’s sit-in in Islamabad.

He said, “The court has allowed us to hold the protest on Monday”. He added, “We will follow the court’s orders”.

However, the Islamabad High Court’s (IHC) verdict is still awaited. Earlier today IHC Justice Saman Imtiaz reserved the verdict on PTI’s plea for permission to hold protest in the capital. Meanwhile, Section 144 remains imposed in Islamabad.
