PTI leader Amir Mughal sent to jail on judicial remand

ISLAMABAD:  Islamabad anti-terrorism court on Friday has send Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) leader Amir Mughal to jail on judicial remand.

Islamabad police presented the Amir Mughal before anti-terrorism court for physical remand in attack on Capital Development Authority (CDA) and police officials case.

Judge Abul Hasnat Zulqarnain rejected the petition filed for physical remand of Amir Mughal by police. Meanwhile, court ordered to send Amir Mughal to jail on judicial remand.

A case was registered against PTI leader Amir Mughal at Islamabad’s Karachi Company police station by complainant under Section 7 Anti-terrorism Act (ATA) and other 6 sections.

PTI’s central office sealed, partially demolished in midnight police raid

PTI leader Amir Mughal and other 25 individuals were accused of attacking CDA and police officials. However, police arrested the PTI leader Amir Mughal from PTI central sectaries in Islamabad on Thursday night.

FIR stated that Amir Mughal did aerial shooting during CDA operation on Thursday night and he along with mob tried to attack police.

According to FIR, Amir Mughal’s companions escaped from the scene during his arrest.

Capital Development Authority (CDA) in presence of Islamabad Police sealed the Central Secretariat of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on late Thursday night.
