PTI demands judicial commission to probe attack on Raoof Hasan

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Thereek-e-Insaf on Wednesday demanded the formation of a judicial commission to probe the attack on party leader Raoof Hasan, and rejected the first information report (FIR) registered against the attack.

During a press conference with the Opposition Leader in the National Assembly, Omar Ayub Khan, Raoof Hasan said that apart from the recent incident, he had encountered another attempted attack, indicating a premeditated plan behind the events.

Omer Ayub claimed that the police had manipulated the FIR, contending that it did not accurately represent the details outlined in Hasan’s written complaint.

Raoof Hasan said that following the May 9 incidents, PTI leaders and workers were forced to change political loyalties.
