Police arrest Mansha Bomb over land grabbing allegations

LAHORE: Authorities have taken Malik Mansha Ali, also known as “Bomb,” into custody on suspicion of leading a land mafia engaged in illegal land seizures in Lahore, the capital city of Punjab.

The arrest followed orders from caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi, prompted by complaints lodged by concerned citizens. A number of aggrieved individuals brought their grievances against Mansha Bomb to the chief minister during his visit to the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) office.

These citizens alleged that Mansha Bomb had forcibly taken possession of their lands. In response, the chief minister firmly stated that illegal activities would not be tolerated in Punjab.

Subsequently, he directed the police to apprehend the suspect. Lahore police acted swiftly, taking Mansha Bomb into custody within three hours of receiving the order.

Malik Mansha Khokhar, also known as Mansha Bomb, is a notorious figure at the helm of a land mafia operating in Johar Town, a suburban area of Lahore. He is wanted by law enforcement agencies in connection with more than 70 cases related to land encroachment, firing upon law enforcement personnel, murder, and attempted murder.

Mansha Bomb has gained notoriety for targeting vulnerable individuals and unlawfully depriving them of their property. He has managed to evade numerous charges through cultivating favorable relationships with whichever political party holds power in Punjab.
