Regarding the issue of new constituency delimitations, PM Kakar noted that these adjustments are a constitutional and legal imperative. If the constitution mandates new delimitations, they will be carried out.
Addressing the removal of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Chief, he clarified that the action was taken through constitutional and legal channels. He also pointed out that on the matter of the US cypher issue, PTI Chief had reversed his stance.
During the interview, PM Kakar asserted that the nation would not permit any external interference in its internal matters. He stressed that the eradication of terrorist groups serves the best interests of both Pakistan and Afghanistan, acknowledging Pakistan’s significant sacrifices in the fight against terrorism.
“We face political, economic, and security challenges, and we are resolute in overcoming them. Pakistan’s future is promising, and we must avoid transforming political opposition into personal animosity, which could lead to further issues,” he added.
Regarding diplomatic relations, the interim premier expressed the nation’s readiness to engage in productive negotiations with all neighboring countries, including India. However, he made it clear that Pakistan’s core positions would not be compromised.
