QUETTA: Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir condemning India’s open patronage of terrorist organisations, said that the Pakistan army is determined to root out terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.
Field Marshal Asim Munir expressed these while interacting with participants of the 16th session of the National Workshop Balochistan, the military’s media wing ISPR said in a statement on Wednesday.
During the meeting, Field Marshal Munir strongly condemned India’s open patronage of terrorist organisations, calling it a failed attempt to undermine the patriotism of the people of Balochistan.

He emphasised the importance of national unity and a collective resolve to eliminate terrorism. He said such threats required coordinated national-level strategies and institutional harmony.
The Army Chief highlighted that development projects in Balochistan were key to Pakistan’s overall progress. He reaffirmed the army’s commitment to supporting these initiatives.
During the interactive session, participants raised various questions, to which Field Marshal Munir responded in detail.
Commenting on regional and ideological threats, he said elements like “Fitna-e-Khawarij” (militant extremists) and “Fitna-e-Hindustan” (Indian-sponsored propaganda) were being used as tools in a hybrid war against Pakistan. He warned that their fate would be no different than that of their defeated masters.
He stressed that terrorism had no religion or nationality and that unity was essential to counter such threats.
“The nation is always ready to face internal and external dangers,” he said, adding that Pakistan was committed to regional peace but would respond forcefully to any threat.
