Nine bus passengers abducted, executed in Noshki

QUETTA: Nine people were abducted from a passenger bus in Noshki and then executed by unidentified gunmen late Friday night.
According to Deputy Commissioner Noshki Habibullah Mosakhel, gunmen blocked Quetta-Nushki-Taftan N-40 Highway near Sultan Charhai area on Friday and started searching the vehicles.
The culprits responsible for this heinous act stopped the bus, abducted the passengers, and subsequently executed them by firing multiple rounds.
The bodies of the victims were discovered beneath a bridge in the mountainous area of Noshki, with gunshot wounds inflicted on various parts of their bodies.
Joint teams formed to probe Bahawalnagar incident
The deceased individuals have been identified as residents of Mandi Bahauddin and Gujranwala, according to Noshki SSP Allah Bux.
In a separate incident gunmen fired shots at a vehicle in the Sultan Charhai area, killing two people and injuring five, said the SSP.
The brother of Balochistan MPA Ghulam Dastgir was among the injured.
The wounded victims have been rushed to nearby medical facilities for treatment.
Heavy contingents of Police, FC and other law enforcing agencies have cordoned off the area and launched a search operation.
INTERIOR MINISTER, CM BALOCHISTAN CONDEMNATION
Expressing their condolences Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and the Chief Minister of Balochistan Sarfaraz Bugti condemned the killings of innocent passengers in Noshki and extended their sympathies to the bereaved families.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said that in Quaid-e-Azam’s Pakistan, there is no room for such acts.
CM Balochistan, Sarfaraz Bugti vowed that those responsible for the incident would not be granted any leniency, as this act of murder against the passengers is an inhumane and unforgivable crime.
