MQM assures PML-N of full support

ISLAMABAD: A Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) delegation met with the coordination committee members of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) on Monday to discuss the political situation and the formation of the coalition government.

PML-N leader Ishaq Dar briefed the MQM-P delegation about the talks with the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and other parties.

According to sources, the MQM-P assured its full support to the PML-N in the government formation.

“We are with them in this difficult phase of government formation,” said Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori in an informal chat with the reporters.

“We have reaffirmed our support and hope that the communique will be announced today,” said Tessori.

The MQM-P expressed its satisfaction over the talks so far in the larger national interest. The meeting discussed the power-sharing formula for the government formation.
