KP govt issues guidelines to hospitals for expediting treatment of viral diseases

PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government on Monday issued guidelines to hospitals in the province to expedite diagnosis and treatment of viral flu, cough and skin diseases.

The KP Health Department said that due to dry cold weather, air pollution and substandard food, a large number of people are suffering from seasonal flu, cough and skin diseases.

It advised people to wash their clothes, shawls and blankets with hot water and dry under the clear sunlight besides using face masks and ensuring cleanliness.

The health department also advised the citizens to take regular sunbathe to avoid these diseases. INP
