Dry weather to prevail, light rain expected in KP

ISLAMABAD: Mainly dry weather is expected in most parts of the country during the daytime, while partly cloudy during evening and night in the next twelve hours, according to the Pakistan Met Department.

However, light rain with wind and thunderstorms and light snowfall over hills is likely at isolated places in Gilgit-Baltistan and upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during night hours.

Hiking trails in Islamabad to remain closed for five days

Weather will remain dry in Islamabad with afternoon temperatures climbing to 28 degrees centigrade while the evening temperatures will dip to 19 degrees centigrade.

Temperatures of major cities recorded this morning:

Islamabad 10 degrees centigrade, Lahore 16, Karachi 22, Peshawar 13, Quetta 11, Gilgit and Murree seven and Muzaffarabad 12 degree centigrade.
