Imran Khan’s lawyer Intizar Panjutha recovered from abductors

HASSAN ABDAL: Abducted counsel of former premier Imran Khan, Intizar Panjutha, was rescued from Hassan Abdal after a police encounter.

According to the police spokesman, the Attock police stopped a suspicious vehicle at the blockade in Hassan Abdal, when the kidnappers in the vehicle started firing indiscriminately.

The spokesman also said that the gang of kidnappers were trying to take someone away in the car. The kidnappers fled after leaving the car after the police fired back, he added.

According to the spokesman, the rescued hostage was later identified as Intar Panjutha. He was then shifted to a nearby hospital for medical assistance. Intizar Panjutha also gave a statement and said that he was kidnapped for ransom. He also shared that he was subjected to physical assault by the kidnappers.
