Fourteen more Indian-backed militants killed: ISPR

RAWALPINDI: Security forces killed 14 more Indian-backed militants during a clearance operation along the Pak-Afghan border, raising the two-day toll to 47, according to the media and public relations wing of the Pakistan Armed Forces (ISPR).
According to the ISPR, the operation was carried out in the Sambaza area overnight between August 8 and 9.
Troops recovered weapons, ammunition, and explosives from the slain militants.
The ISPR said the two-day anti-infiltration operation had eliminated 47 militants. It reaffirmed that the forces remain committed to defending the country’s borders and thwarting any attempts to harm Pakistan’s peace, stability, and development.

A day earlier, security forces had killed 33 infiltrators in Balochistan’s Zhob district after they crossed into Pakistan from the Afghan border.
President, Prime Minister, Interior Minister and other political leaders paid tribute to the brave armed forces.
They vowed that with national support, the menace of terrorism will be eradicated from its roots.
DG ISPR MEETS RMU STUDENTS, RECEIVES WARM RESPONSE
Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhary on Saturday held a special session with students of Rawalpindi Medical University.
The session drew overwhelming appreciation from the students and reflected strong national spirit.
Students expressed complete solidarity with the armed forces, saying that no matter how hard the enemies try, they cannot distance the youth from their defenders.
They vowed to stand shoulder to shoulder with the armed forces against the evil designs of the enemy.
