Four judges appointed in special courts of Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Four judges were appointed in various special courts of the country by the Ministry of Law and Justice on deputation basis.
The Ministry of Law has issued a notification for the appointment of four judges in various special courts.
The notification stated that District and Sessions Judge Amjad Ali Shah has been appointed as Special Judge Central Rawalpindi, District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Naeem Sheikh has been appointed as Special Judge Central Gujranwala.
Judge Humayun Dilawar’s services handed over to IHC for new posting
District and Sessions Judge Rana Zahid Iqbal has been appointed as Special Judge Central Faisalabad and District and Sessions Judge Tanveer Ahmed Sheikh has been appointed as Special Judge Central Lahore.
Judges have been appointed on deputation by the Ministry of Law.
The special courts are sanctioned under Section 8 (i) of the Protection of Pakistan Act, 2014 to provide protection against waging of war or insurrection against the country, prevention of acts threatening its security, speedy trial of offences and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.
