Five family members shot dead in Kamoke

KAMOKE: Five members of the same family were gunned down while one person sustained serious injuries in a shocking incident of firing in village Uttali Virkan, located in the Tatle Aali area of Kamoke, on Tuesday morning.

According to police, the deceased were identified as Usman, Waqas, Imran, Omar, and Afzal. All died on the spot. A sixth person, Suleman, was critically injured and was shifted to the Tehsil Headquarters Kamoke for treatment.

Police added that the accused, also named Imran, managed to flee the scene after the shooting.

Investigations are currently underway to determine the motive behind the tragic incident.
