Fire erupts at factory in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: A fire has erupted in a factory near Humak Town area of Islamabad on Friday morning. Fire brigades have been dispatched to the area.

According to initial reports, the fire erupted in an air-conditioning manufacturing factory.

The firefighters are having a tough time in extinguishing the fire due to its intensity. More than 20 fire brigades are present on site to douse out the fire. So far no loss of life has been reported in the incident.

Police arrest 149, including Chinese, in scam centre raid

Due to the intensity of the fire, billows of smoke could be seen from faraway sites in Islamabad.
