According to the statement issued by the Afghan presidential palace (Arg), Mullah Hassan Akhund urged Pakistan to cease its harsh treatment towards Afghan refugees to which Fazlur Rehman said that he raised his voice against Pakistan’s treatment of the Afghan refugees.

Fazlur Rehman said that the objective of his visit was to “eliminate misunderstanding and provide cooperation in political, economic and trade relations.”

Fazlur Rehman arrived in Kabul on Sunday for a visit, viewed as part of the Afghan Taliban government’s efforts to assure Pakistan that it does not support the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
