Electricity prices raised by Rs 5 per unit


The National Electric Power  Regularity Authority (NEPRA) sanctioned yet another increase in electricity tariffs, instituting a quarterly modification of Rs1.7432 per unit for the upcoming three months.

ISLAMABAD: The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has initially approved raise in power tariff by Rs 5 per unit in the price of electricity as part of the fuel price adjustment (FCA).

The increase was sought in the context of monthly fuel adjustment in February.
