ISLAMABAD: Dr Riffat Hussain, prominent journalist and researcher has passed away on Saturday. He was 73 years old.
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has condoled his death.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the sad demise of prominent Researcher and Senior Analyst Dr. Syed Riffat Hussain.
Pakistan asks Afghan Citizen Card holders to leave by March 31
In his statement, the Prime Minister prayed for the elevation of ranks of the deceased in Jannah and for the grant of patience to the bereaved family.
He said the demise of Dr. Riffat Hussain deprived Pakistan of one of the best Journalists and Researchers.
Professor Dr Syed Riffat Hussain was former Head Of The Department Of Defence And Strategic Studies at Quaid-i-Azam University. He was also the brother of TV anchor Talat Hussain.
He authored numerous books and publications, including “Afghanistan and 9/11”.
