Disappointing performance in Punjab inter supply exams results

LAHORE: In a recent announcement on Thursday, various educational boards in Punjab revealed the outcomes of the Intermediate (inter) Supplementary Examinations 2023.

The Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore disclosed a pass percentage of 35.75, shedding light on the academic journey of 13,275 candidates who took part in the second annual examination.

Out of a total of 53,000 candidates who appeared for the inter supplementary exams, a mere 18,000 managed to secure a passing grade, leaving a considerable 35,000 students, constituting 64 percent, grappling with an unfortunate failure.

The detailed results have been made available on the official website of BISE Lahore for candidates to access.

Faisalabad Board results

The Education Board Faisalabad also joined the disclosure, presenting the Second Intermediate Examination results, revealing a less than favorable outcome.

A notable 62 percent of students faced failure for the second consecutive time, reflecting the challenges they encountered.

The Controller Board of Faisalabad Education Board highlighted the stark statistics, stating that only 38.79 percent of candidates achieved success in these examinations.

Breaking down the numbers, a total of 24,033 male and female students actively participated in the inter supplementary exams, with only 9,322 candidates emerging victorious in their academic pursuits.

The revelation of these results serves as a crucial checkpoint for both students and educational institutions, prompting a reflection on areas of improvement for future academic endeavors.

2nd Annual exams are supplementary exams but fresh candidates can also appear in 2nd annual exams as recently announced. Students who failed in any subjects, or want to improve their marks, appear in additional subjects or fresh candidates can also appear in the 2nd annual exams. Matric 2nd annual exam results are already announced.
