ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Information Technology Shaza Fatima on Monday spoke about cybersecurity as one of the most pressing challenges of the digital age. Speaking at an event, she stressed the need for robust digital security measures to protect national interests in cyberspace.
The minister revealed that her ministry is actively providing youth with training in various digital skills to equip them for modern technological demands. “We are committed to empowering our young population with cutting-edge digital competencies,” Fatima stated.
Addressing the growing gaming industry, the minister encouraged youth to develop expertise in game development. She noted that Pakistan’s video gaming sector is showing promising growth, which is having positive economic impacts. “The expansion of video gaming industry is contributing to our economy while creating new opportunities,” she added.
