Bushra Bibi challenges ‘Nikah’ during ‘Iddat’ case in IHC

ISLAMABAD: Bushra Bibi, the wife of former prime minister and former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan, on Monday challenged the case of their Nikah during Iddat in the Islamabad High Court (IHC).

It is learnt that her lawyers are trying to schedule the case for hearing today.

The applicant submitted that the case is based on malice and the decision of additional session’s judge East on January 11 be declared null and void.

The applicant prayed that the case be ordered dismissed and the proceedings of the trial court be stayed pending the pendency of her plea. – INP
