Atta prices further reduced in Punjab

LAHORE: The prices of atta (flour) has been further reduced in Punjab for the convenience of the public.
According to Punjab’s Minister for Food, Bilal Yasin, a notification has been issued regarding the reduction in prices of 10 kg and 20 kg flour/atta bags across the province.
In Lahore, the price of a 20 kg flour bag has been reduced by an additional Rs 70. Now, a 20 kg flour bag will be sold in the market for Rs 1730 instead of Rs 1800.
In Sheikhupura, the price of a 20 kg flour bag has been reduced by Rs 100 and will now be available for Rs 1640. In Jhelum, Chakwal, Pakpattan, and Narowal, the price has been reduced by Rs 80, while in Multan, Sahiwal, Sargodha, and Attock, it has been reduced by Rs 60. In Rawalpindi, Hafizabad, Sialkot, Nankana, and Okara, the price of a 20 kg flour bag has been reduced by Rs 50.
Rising onion and egg prices push weekly inflation higher
In Toba Tek Singh, Jhang, Chiniot, Khushab, Bhakkar, Lodhran, Rajanpur, Muzaffargarh, Layyah, and Rahim Yar Khan, flour will be cheaper by Rs 40, while in Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Wazirabad, and Mandi Bahauddin, the price has been further reduced by Rs 30.
In Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar, Dera Ghazi Khan, Khanewal, Vehari, and Mianwali, the price has been reduced by Rs 20.
