Abbas Afridi succumbs to his wounds from yesterday’s explosion

KOHAT: Former Senator Abbas Afridi, who was injured in a gas leakage explosion yesterday, succumbed to his injures, family has confirmed.

Afridi was injured in a gas leakage explosion in Azam Bagh, Kohat yesterday, after which he was shifted to the Burn Center in Kharian.

Family sources said that Abbas Afridi’s funeral prayers will be offered in Babri Banda, Kohat.

It should be noted that three people, including Abbas Khan Afridi, were injured in the explosion yesterday, and the condition of the rest of the injured is also said to be critical.

The explosion is being said to be gas leakage, and so far there are no reports of that being a criminal activity. However, details will emerge after the investigation into the incident.
