5.1 magnitude earthquake hits Swat

SWAT: A 5.1 magnitude earthquake rattled Swat and adjoining areas on Wednesday.

According to the National Seismic Monitoring Centre, the earthquake originated in the Hindukush Region, Afghanistan with a depth of 208km.

Residents of Swat, Abbotabad and adjoining areas came out of their residential and commercial properties. No loss of life or property was reported.
