‘Truth cannot be hidden’: Alizeh Shah reveals her version of the ‘physical abuse’ incident

ISLAMABAD: Alizeh Shah has presented her own account of the incident in which she was accused of allegedly assaulting fellow actress Minsa Malik.

Although Shah maintained a silence on the issue, however, she has now opted to share a note on Instagram, penned down by a user who claimed to have “insider information” from an on-set source.

According to the source’s perspective, the blame for the incident was put on Malik. Furthermore, in response to the elaborate narration presented by the user, the Taana Baana actress said, “Sach Kabhi Nae Chupta” which translates to “Truth can’t be hidden.”

Meanwhile, the Instagram user, in her note, alleged:  “An anonymous source (on the set) tipped me off about this one incident that has been taking rounds on social media regarding Alizeh Shah and a fellow actress that accused Alizeh of misconduct when in reality, this other woman slapped Alizeh first and initiated physical violence,[against] all and any professionalism. The crew, fellow artist and everyone involved is on Alizeh’s side because the incident occurred around 6 pm and Alizeh did not leave the set even till 12 am. She completed her shoot after being humiliated and assaulted in front of everyone and that speaks volumes of her work ethic. So, my advice is that don’t believe everything that you guys see on social media without hearing someone else’s story first.”

Earlier, actress Malik lodged a First Information Report (FIR) against Alizeh Shah, leveling allegations of physical altercation on a set.

According to the documented version of the complaint submitted in Islamabad, Malik accused that her co-actor was under the influence of “drugs” when she purportedly threw a cigarette containing marijuana in her direction, during the filming of a TV serial.

She said that she responded with a slap, after which Shah allegedly engaged in a “physical assault.”

Furthermore, Malik’s complaint also outlined Shah’s professional jealousy and mentioned a prior project disruption due to Shah’s troublesome behavior.

As of now, there have been no reported legal developments.
