NEW YORK: The highly-anticipated psychological thriller The Marsh King’s Daughter has unveiled its trailer, igniting excitement in the cinema world.

Star Wars star Daisy Ridley takes the lead in the upcoming thriller, embodying the character Helena. While living an ostensibly ordinary life with her family, Helena conceals a grim secret. She is the daughter of the notorious “Marsh King,” a man who held both her and her mother captive in the wilderness for years. As Helena’s father escapes prison, she must confront her inner demons and face the man she once revered. Aware that her father will pursue her and her family, Ridley’s character must muster the strength to confront this harrowing ordeal.

Directed by Neil Burger, renowned for the movie Limitless the cast features notable names such as Ben Mendelsohn, Garrett Hedlund, Caren Pistorius, Gil Birmingham, and Brooklynn Prince, portraying pivotal roles.
