What will Pakistan’s weather be like in the next 24 hours?

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast dry weather for most parts of the country, with colder conditions expected in the northern regions during the night and early morning hours over the next 24 hours.

According to the synoptic situation, a continental air mass prevails over most regions of the country.

In the past 24 hours, rain, wind, and thunderstorms were reported in central Balochistan, Kashmir, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and upper Punjab. Dry weather conditions persisted in other parts of the country.

Rainfall measurements included Balochistan with Khuzdar receiving 19mm, Dalbandin 02mm; Kashmir had Muzaffarabad (Airport and City) with 06mm, Garhi Dupatta 04mm, Rawalakot 01mm; Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa reported Kakul and Kalam with 03mm, and Balakot, Chitral, and Drosh with 01mm; in Punjab, Rawalpindi Kacheri received 02mm, while Murree, Gujranwala, and Sialkot each recorded 01mm of rainfall.

The lowest minimum temperatures were observed in Leh and Kalam, both at -02°C.
