Usman Dar arrested in Karachi, moved to undisclosed Location

KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Usman Dar was arrested in the Defence area of Karachi and subsequently shifted to an undisclosed location.

SSP Malir expressed his ignorance about Dar’s arrest, citing lack of information surrounding the incident.

Meanwhile, Dar’s mother has released a video message claiming her son has been abducted, and the identity of the abductors remains unknown.

In her emotional plea, she stated, “My son has been taken away by unknown people, and we have no knowledge of who they are. I urge that my son be presented in court so that he can defend himself against any allegations. Please consider my age and hear my appeal.”

On the other hand, a PTI spokesperson has said that plainclothes personnel too Usman Dar into custody and transported him to an undisclosed location. The spokesperson demanded that Dar be recovered immediately and presented him before a court of law.
