Tragic accident claims life of six-year-old in Karachi

KARACHI: In a heart-wrenching incident, a traffic accident in municipality number 9 has resulted in the untimely death of a six-year-old girl. The incident occurred when the young victim, Rahima Fatima, was out with her father to buy necessities.

Rahima Fatima’s father, accompanied by his daughter, was on a motorcycle heading to a local general store. As they approached their destination, a group of school children playing nearby engaged in mischief, causing the motorcycle to lose balance. Tragically, as the motorcycle toppled, the young girl was struck by a passing milk truck.

Financial woes threaten closure of six hospitals

The injured child was swiftly rushed to Civil Hospital, but despite efforts, she succumbed to her injuries.

The Karachi police are actively investigating the incident. Eyewitnesses report that following the accident, the driver of the milk supply truck fled the scene. A search operation is currently underway to locate the driver, according to police officials.
