The Supreme Court has issued a notification regarding the appointment of Jazeela Aslam as the new registrar.
According to the notification judge Jazeela Aslam’s services have been handed to the Supreme Court on a deputation basis.
“In a historic milestone for the country, the Supreme Court has appointed a female registrar for the first time, marking a remarkable achievement for a working mother of three and serving as an inspiration to dedicated female judicial officers, according to press release issued by the apex court.

Jazeela earned first division honours in her BA degree from Kinnaird College and completed her LLB from Punjab University, securing the second position in Punjab’s competitive judicial examination.
