LAHORE/NEW YORK: The Pakistan Super League’s (PSL) international momentum is showing no signs of slowing down. Just days after lighting up Lord’s with a glittering celebration of Pakistan cricket, the PSL roadshow is now rolling into New York, with a fresh lineup of national stars touching down in the United States today.

Six national cricketers: Salman Ali Agha, Shan Masood, Saud Shakeel, Faheem Ashraf, Saim Ayub, and Abrar Ahmed, are scheduled to arrive in New York to headline the league’s latest promotional roadshow. Adding even more star power, legendary former Test captain Wasim Akram will also reach the city at 2 PM (US time), joining the growing crowd of cricket royalty.

Also already in New York are former PCB chairman Ramiz Raja, PSL CEO Salman Naseer, and music sensation Ali Zafar, who are gearing up to represent Pakistan cricket on one of the world’s biggest stages.

FROM LORD’S TO THE BIG APPLE: PSL’S GLOBAL PUSH GAINS STEAM

The New York leg comes on the heels of a blockbuster event earlier this week at London’s iconic Lord’s Cricket Ground, where the PSL delivered a high-octane showcase featuring PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi, Ramiz Raja, Wasim Akram, and PSL CEO Salman Naseer. A second star-studded session brought the crowd to its feet as Babar Azam, Haris Rauf, Sahibzada Farhan, and Wasim Akram shared stories, insights, and aspirations for Pakistan cricket.

The message from the London event was loud and clear: the PSL is aiming for the top.

“We want to make PSL the number one league in the world,” Chairman Mohsin Naqvi declared, adding that the league’s unmatched role in grooming young talent and elevating Pakistan’s cricketing stature.

Ramiz Raja and Wasim Akram echoed the sentiment, lauding the PSL’s contribution to developing homegrown stars and giving fans premium entertainment. PSL CEO Salman Naseer hailed the success of the London showcase, calling it “a proud moment for Pakistan cricket.”

Superstar batter Babar Azam was the fan favorite at Lord’s, stressing that it is “always an honor to play for Pakistan” and crediting the PSL for shaping his journey as both a player and mentor.

PSL’S AMERICAN CHAPTER BEGINS

With New York now buzzing in anticipation, today’s arrivals will kick off another landmark gathering for Pakistan cricket. The event is expected to mirror London’s electrifying energy, complete with fan interactions, panel discussions, and a celebration of the PSL’s global footprint.

As Pakistan’s biggest cricketing personalities converge on the US, the message is unmistakable: The PSL isn’t just a league, it’s a global movement.

And as the roadshow moves from the “Home of Cricket” to one of the world’s most iconic cities, Pakistan cricket continues to shine on the international stage.
