Sindh CM suspends four college teachers over negligence

KARACHI: Sindh’s caretaker chief minister has suspended four college officials on Tuesday over their alleged negligence in maintaining the standards of a government college in the province.

Maqbool Baqir ordered the suspension of the director-general of colleges, the principal, the vice-principal and a lecturer of Islamic studies at Al-Noor College after visiting the institution and finding it in a deplorable condition, his official spokesperson said in a statement.

Baqir said he would not tolerate any negligence in matters of education and warned that those who did not work diligently and honestly would be relieved of their duties.
