Parwaz card Punjab

WEB DESK: The Punjab government has introduced the “Parwaz Card” program, offering interest-free financial assistance to young Pakistanis pursuing employment opportunities abroad. The initiative aims to cover initial expenses such as visa fees, medical tests, and airfare, making international employment more accessible.

Under the scheme, 100,000 eligible candidates with pre-confirmed job offers from authorised foreign employers will be able to apply. Officials said the program seeks to remove financial barriers, allowing skilled youth to access international job markets and contribute to increased remittances.

Eligibility and Application Process

Applicants must be at least 18 years old, residents of Punjab, and possess a verified job offer from a recognised overseas employer. The government emphasised that the application process will be transparent and organised, ensuring that qualified candidates can easily benefit from the program.

Authorities have advised potential applicants to prepare the following documents in advance:

  • Verified foreign employment offer
  • Proof of residence in Punjab
  • Identity documents and age verification

Addressing Financial Barriers

Many Pakistani youth face challenges in pursuing overseas employment due to high upfront costs. The Parwaz Card program is seen as a key step toward resolving these issues, offering financial support and confidence to applicants. Officials said details regarding formal applications will soon be made available on the Punjab government’s official website.

A government spokesperson said the initiative aims to increase employment opportunities for young people abroad while boosting remittance flows, providing both financial security and practical support for participants.
