PPP excludes itself from welcoming Nawaz Sharif

LAHORE:  Faisal Karim Kundi, a prominent leader of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), has declared that Nawaz Sharif will face legal consequences upon his return to the country, including potential incarceration.

Kundi asserted that the PPP will not be present to greet Nawaz Sharif when he returns next month, emphasizing that Sharif does not hold leadership status within their party.

Furthermore, Faisal Karim Kundi highlighted the transitory nature of the PPP’s alliance with the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), stating that their association was limited to the Shehbaz Sharif government and terminated with the government’s conclusion.

He also pointed out that the PPP had no involvement with the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM).
